Our Story
‘Ora et labora’; a thousand-year old monastic tradition where the process of brewing and distilling are combined with prayer, yields a gin that is rich, intensely pure, and deliciously refined.
Archangel Gins are a truly authentic creation, made entirely in the county of Norfolk at a familial farm distillery that has been lovingly nurtured for over sixty years. The founders are dedicated to an approach of high-quality, small scale production, that allows them to make use of the best local produce and closely guarded distilling knowledge.
By self-imposed discipline and great care, Archangel has achieved a uniqueness that is unmatched. When you partake of this hallowed drink, it will be with the knowledge that there is nothing else quite like it.
The mix of juniper, orange zest, verbena, and sea-buckthorn from the farm combined with rooty botanicals such as angelica, finished with Walsingham water, delivers a gloriously full bodied drink that could only be a product of the spiritually resolute.
